5th Annual Gathering and Healing Weekend

This well attended and highly anticipated annual event, marks a significant occasion for indigenous and non-indigenous communities alike. The event will resonate with heartfelt ceremonies, where elders share stories of resilience and wisdom, emphasizing the importance of healing and unity. The community, young and old, Indigenous and Non-Indigenous, will enjoy the many participants, adorned in vibrant regalia, engaged in traditional dances and songs that will echo across Mississauga, embodying a spirit of cultural pride and remembrance. 

Through reflective discussions, Indigenous food and craft vendors along with select workshops, attendees will be immersed in the local Indigenous Culture and Heritage. This gathering serves as a poignant reminder of the ongoing journey towards reconciliation, fostering hope for a future built on mutual respect and understanding among all peoples.
