Canada Day Celebration 2023

Celebrate Canada Day in the heart of Mississauga with live entertainment, family activities, Square One giveaways, food trucks, and a spectacular fireworks finale presented by Tim Hortons.

Catch an incredible lineup of stellar Canadian artists all evening long!

The main stage kicks off with Mississauga’s own Aqyila and her TikTok viral summer vibes. Then, pop-rock star on-the-rise MICO hits the stage with his catchy lyrics and hype melodies. Canadian favourite Jamie Fine is on at 7:45pm, bringing her iconic vocals and platinum hits. The show ends with an unforgettable headline performance by pop-powerhouse, Faouzia!

Closed: July 1st from 10:00 am to 11:30 pm

  • Duke of York Boulevard from Burnhamthorpe Road W. to Prince of Wales Drive (one northbound lane to remain open to filter traffic out of Square One at Princess Royal)
  • City Centre Drive from Living Arts Drive to Mercer Street
  • Close at Mercer (west side of intersection) Additional cones to be placed at closure point
  • Princess Royal Drive from Living Arts Drive to Duke of York Boulevard

Closed: July 1st from 7:00 pm to 11:30 pm

  • Living Arts Drive from Burnhamthorpe Road W. to Prince of Wales Drive
  • Burnhamthorpe Road W. from Confederation Parkway to Hurontario Street
  • Kariya Gate from Burnhamthorpe Road W. to City Centre Drive (north-bound lanes only)

Note: Police will use the south-bound lanes to filter out traffic from Square One.
