Bike Fix-It Events during Bike Month: Bike check-ups
The City is offering free bike checks and tune-ups from a bike mechanic. Checks can include the basic ABC (air, brakes/bell and chain/crank arm) and other basic repair needs like flat tire fixes.
Every Tuesday, keep an eye out for the blue Mississauga pop-up tent at the following locations:
- Fix-It Event Mississauga Valley Community Centre | June 2 from 5 to 8 p.m. [map]
- Fix-It Event Clarkson Community Centre | June 9 from 5 to 8 p.m. [map] - cancelled due to weather
- Fix-It Event Streetsville Memorial Park | June 16 from 5 to 8 p.m. [map]
- Fix-It Event Erin Meadows Community Centre | June 23 from 5 to 8 p.m. [map]
- Fix-It Event Clarkson Community Centre | rescheduled June 30 from 5 to 8 p.m. [map]
No registration, drop-in. First Come - First Serve.
Note: "parts will not be included" and if you have parts that you want the mechanics to replace to please bring it with you (ex. correct tube size to replace the tube, or a pedal to replace a broken one, etc.).
