GYLES, an award-winning musical siren from Mississauga, has been a powerhouse in the independent music scene.
Formerly the lead vocalist of the neo-soul band Jamesking, she has shared the stage with musical royalty and lent her signature buttery vocals to Canadian greats like Jully Black and the late Camille Douglas. A gifted songwriter, she co-penned the hit Together with St. Lucian artist Teddyson John after attending Kerwin DuBois' writing camp. With accolades including an Independent Music Award, headlining the Montreal Funk Festival, and multiple sync placements, GYLES seamlessly blends R&B, soul, funk, reggae, and soca into an unforgettable performance.
