Invasive Species Awareness Fair

Join us at the Invasive Species Awareness Fair where you’ll meet environmental experts and some very special four-legged guests: a team of goats helping to clear invasive plants naturally! Residents will learn how to detect, report and protect Mississauga’s green and natural spaces while enjoying free activities on-site, including:

  • Informational booths hosted by local environmental organizations
  • Two Guided Walks (45 min to 1 hr in length) at 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
  • Native Plant Giveaway
  • Prescribed goat grazing
  • Live music by artist Benji Crane
  • Face painting
  • Garlic mustard pull
  • Free food for fair participants
  • See native reptiles from Ontario
  • Meet & Greet with Forrest, our Forestry mascot!
