Join us at the Invasive Species Awareness Fair where you’ll meet environmental experts and some very special four-legged guests: a team of goats helping to clear invasive plants naturally! Residents will learn how to detect, report and protect Mississauga’s green and natural spaces while enjoying free activities on-site, including:
- Informational booths hosted by local environmental organizations
- Two Guided Walks (45 min to 1 hr in length) at 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
- Native Plant Giveaway
- Prescribed goat grazing
- Live music by artist Benji Crane
- Face painting
- Garlic mustard pull
- Free food for fair participants
