Mississauga's 50th Anniversary Mural Unveiling

Join us to celebrate the unveiling of Mississauga’s 50th anniversary mural, "Come Together" by Que Rock, Alex Bacon and Peru.

“Come Together” celebrates and honours the Indigenous history of Mississauga, its name, and its inhabitants, human and non-human kin alike. Located on the concert tower of the Living Arts Centre, this mural is Mississauga’s largest mural to date!

We'll hear from the muralists and enjoy live music by Allydice. Bring a blanket for sitting!

Accessibility: There is limited seating for those with accessibility needs. Please let us know if you plan to attend and would like us to arrange an ASL interpreter. You can email public.art@mississauga.ca

ALLYDICE is a Mississauga-based Hip-Hop and R&B duo comprised of identical twin sisters Kayle and Kayla Allydice. Born to Jamaican parents, the twins were introduced to reggae and dancehall at an early age. Their love for music began with reggae, but it did not solely influence their current sound. At the age of twelve, they began writing and recording music, performing for various charity organizations across the GTA. For 12+ years, they’ve been perfecting their original sound. They were featured on Canada’s Walk of Fame ETALK “Celebrating Greatness” broadcast and took home the grand prize at the 2020 Canada’s Walk of Fame RBC Emerging Musician Program.
