The Mississauga Pops invites you to an afternoon of vibrant music from Latin America and Spain. It will be a celebration of the rich musical heritage of Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking cultures, promising an afternoon filled with passionate rhythms and unforgettable melodies. The orchestra will perform a captivating program that explores a diverse range of genres, from traditional folk tunes to classical masterpieces, and from jazz to contemporary compositions.
The multi-talented Laura Fernandez will be our special guest and MC. Born in Madrid, Spain, and now a celebrated Canadian singer-songwriter, pianist, producer, and radio host, Fernandez brings her unique artistry and deep cultural roots to the stage.
