Tree Planting Events
Plant a tree, grow a future!
Help us add more trees towards the City of Mississauga’s goal of planting one million trees by joining a tree planting event at a local park.
No experience needed – just bring your enthusiasm. We’ll teach you how to plant like a pro and help make our park even more beautiful. Equipment such as shovels will be provided. Online registration is required.

- Come plant some boo-tiful native trees and shrubs at Knotty Pine Park during our Trick or Trees public tree planting event! Put on your best Halloween costume for a chance to win a prize and help us add more trees towards the City of Mississauga’s goal of planting one million trees.

Guidelines:
- Online registration is required.
- Dress appropriately for the weather. Wear closed-toed, sturdy shoes and long pants.
- Equipment such as shovels will be provided. You may also bring your own.
- Staff on site can sign off volunteer hours for youth under 18 years old at the Trick or Trees event.
- Additional instructions will be provided by email closer to the event date.
