Background

Considerations for the Southdown District Policies review:

To provide a mix of employment uses while recognizing existing operations
Improved urban design in recognition of the District’s location as an entrance to Mississauga and links to the waterfront
Recognizing the importance of the waterfront parks that are undergoing a master plan exercise (Lakeside Park and park 389)
Addressing the interface between the residential and employment communities
Keeping informed on the air quality issues in the area.
