Study overview
The City has initiated a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) study for Old Derry Road and Old Creditview Road between Creditview Road and Second Line West.
The Class EA study will examine a range of roadway improvement options that address the condition of the municipal infrastructure and prioritize the safety of all road users.
The study will examine and confirm the need for:
- Pavement rehabilitation
- Safety improvements
- Active transportation facilities
- Rehabilitation or replacement of the existing bridge structures over Levi’s Creek and the Credit River

This project will support the City’s Vision Zero Action Plan (2021), Complete Streets Guide/Changing Lanes (Draft, 2022), Pedestrian Master Plan (2021), and Cycling Master Plan (ongoing update).

Round 2: Public information centre #2
The second public information centre will gather feedback about the evaluation of alternatives, recommended solution and preliminary project design.
Round 3: Project file
