MOPA 1

Location: Various Character Areas

The lands affected by this Amendment are located in multiple Character Areas of MOP 2051, as indicated in Schedule “A” of this amendment.

Purpose: This is an omnibus amendment intended to transition previously considered amendments to the Mississauga Official Plan (MOP) and Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) decisions into the new Mississauga Official Plan 2051 (MOP 2051). These amendments were not part of Council adopted MOP 2051.

MOPA 2

Location: City Wide

The lands affected by this Amendment are all lands designated Mixed Use Limited in Mississauga Official Plan 2051.

Purpose:The purpose of this amendment is to clarify that the Mixed-Use policies apply to Mixed Use Limited designated lands, should sensitive uses be deemed to be appropriate.

MOPA 3

Location: Central Erin Mills Neighbourhood and Applewood Neighbourhood Character Areas

The lands affected by this Amendment are located in the Central Erin Mills and Applewood Neighbourhood Character Areas.

Purpose: The purpose of this Amendment is to:

• Change the land use designation from Residential Low-Rise I and Greenlands to Residential Low-Rise II in the Central Erin Mills Neighbourhood Character Area
• Change the land use designation from Residential Mid-Rise to Residential High-Rise and add a Special Site in the Applewood Neighbourhood Character Area.
• Add a Special Site to permit an 18 storey building in the Applewood Neighbourhood Character Area.

Location: City Wide

The Official Plan Amendment applies to all lands within the City of Mississauga.

Purpose: The purpose of this Amendment is to align Mississauga Official Plan 2051 policies with updates to the City of Mississauga Rental Housing Protection (RHP) By-law 0121-2018.

MOPA 8

Location: Southdown Employment Area, Clarkson Village Growth Node, Clarkson-Lorne Park Neighbourhood and Clarkson GO Protected Major Transit Station Area.

Purpose: The purpose of this Amendment is to amend the Clarkson Village Growth Node, Clarkson-Lorne Park Neighbourhood and Southdown Employment Area Character Area boundaries, and revise and add policies related to vision, land uses, building heights, transportation, urban design and implementation.
