Sauga Summer Pass

Registration for the Sauga Summer Pass will be accepted at City community centres starting Monday, May 1, 2023.

The Sauga Summer Pass is valid from July 1 to August 31 and offers free:

  • MiWay rides (for ages 12 to 16)
  • Drop-in fun swims at City pools (for ages 12 to 16)
  • Fitness centre access (for ages 14 to 16)

Who can apply

To access free MiWay rides and swims, applicants must be between the ages of 12 to 16 (those born between May 2, 2006, to May 1, 2011) during the time of registration.

How to apply

  1. Download, print and complete the Sauga Summer Pass application form
  2. Submit the completed form at any City community centre
  3. Bring a piece of identification with you to verify your date of birth

Fitness centre add-on

If you are between the ages of 14 to 16, you can also access various fitness amenities on a first-come, first-served basis after registering with a parent/guardian. Those who turn 14 during the program can add this on or after their birthday.

Fitness centre access can be added to your Sauga Summer Pass by completing the following additional steps:

  1. Have a parent or guardian visit any community centre and complete the Eligibility for Youth Membership Consent form (available onsite) at the customer service desk
  2. Attend a Virtual Fitness Orientation session offered conveniently online throughout the summer

Fitness Amenities 

Fitness centre access, classes and squash are available from July 1 to August 31 at various locations from Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Frequently asked questions

Bring a piece of identification to the customer service desk at any community centre. A fee of $4.52 including tax to replace your pass will apply.

Sauga Summer Pass applications will be accepted from May 1 to August 31, or until we have reached capacity in the program.

Sauga Summer Passes are not transferable and may be confiscated if used fraudulently or reproduced illegally.

Youth under the age of 14 are unable to use the pass at fitness centres as the minimum age to utilize the City of Mississauga fitness facilities is 14 years old.

Youth can purchase a fitness membership for a fee at any community centre to access the facility during regular hours of operation.

Your Sauga Summer Pass is only valid on MiWay. If you’re transferring to a different transit system, you’ll need to pay the applicable fare.

Transfers are also not issued to Sauga Summer Pass holders. Please show your pass to the transit operator when boarding MiWay.

If you have forgotten your Sauga Summer Pass, you will be required to pay a fare on MiWay. You will not be able to access pools or fitness centres.
