Live Music Grant

The Live Music Grant pilot program provides funding to offset eligible expenses associated with the presentation of safe and inclusive live music events to Mississauga residents and visitors

Who can apply

You can apply for this grant if you are a new or established concert presenter and the concert:

  • Features a minimum of 50% Mississauga-based musicians
  • Takes place in Mississauga
  • Operates on a for-profit model

A new or established concert presenter includes musicians, music venues, bars, restaurants or concert production businesses.

Additional eligibility criteria are required for each funding stream. Review the spring 2023 grant guidelines for more information.

Information webinars

Applicants that have not received a City of Mississauga grant in the past two years are required to attend one of the information webinars to be eligible for funding. All webinars are virtual.

  • Monday, April 17, 2023, 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, April 26, 2023, 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

How to apply

The 2023 Live Music Grant opens April 3, 2023. The deadline to submit your application is May 1, 2023, at 4:30 p.m.
