The Project
The Rathburn Road Transit Priority Measures Project has Ontario Environmental Assessment
approval for a future at-grade centre median dedicated bus-only lanes from east of Hurontario
Street to Duke of York Boulevard. In support of the overall Bus Rapid Transit Project, the
current southbound ramp from Hurontario Street to Rathburn Road/Centreview Drive has been
modified to provide transit priority for buses onto Rathburn Road, and general traffic is
diverted onto Centreview Drive. In addition, curb side BRT bus shelters are being provided on
Rathburn Road at Station Gate Road (City Centre Transit Terminal), and at Rathburn Road and
City Centre Drive.
