Trailer and Recreational Vehicle Parking



Subsection 4.1.11 of the Zoning By-law contains restrictions regarding the parking or storing of trailers (with or without a boat, personal watercraft or snowmobile) or a recreational vehicle on your residential property. You may only park or store these items on your lot in compliance with these restrictions.

Different regulations apply depending on the size, proposed location and type of the trailer and vehicle.

Regulations permitted the parking of a trailer or recreational vehicle on a residential driveway.

Regulations for the parking of a trailer or recreational vehicle in a location other than a residential driveway.

You may park one (1) trailer OR one (1) recreational vehicle that exceeds the maximum sizes noted in Subsections 4.1.11.1.1 and 4.1.11.1.2 on your driveway for a maximum of 72 hours in any one (1) month, provided the trailer and/or recreational vehicle is no longer than 7.0 m exclusive of tongue and less than 3.0 m in combined height.
