Overview

Through the completion of The Credit Woodlands Integrated Road Project, the City will expand Bert Fleming Park by approximately 0.5 acres. New pedestrian crossings and sidewalks will also connect residents to the surrounding neighbourhood.

The City is planning to add new facilities, amenities and features to transform Bert Fleming Park into a neighbourhood hub where residents can gather, play and connect with nature.

These enhancements help promote community well-being, strengthen neighbourhood connections and provide accessible opportunities for residents of all ages.

Public engagement

The conceptual design for Bert Fleming Park is based on guidance from the Parks, Forestry and Environment 2024 Future Directions Plan and the City’s technical analysis.
