Submit your PIL request through ePlans. Once we receive it, we’ll email you a temporary project number and a link to upload the required documents, including your application form and schedules.
After you upload the required information, we’ll do a pre-screen review to ensure your applications meets the minimum requirements. If everything is correct, we’ll let you know what additional user fees and charges apply.
If we still need more information, we’ll email you the pre-screen corrections. You’ll need to make all pre-screen corrections to move ahead with the application process.
After the prescreen review, you’ll receive an email confirming the payment amount. Once you pay your fees, we’ll email you your official application number.
Your application will be sent for a detailed review by the relevant review groups.
Part of the review will be to confirm the shortage of parking spaces and to provide you with the PIL agreement, which includes the total amount you’ll be required to pay. You need to complete this agreement and submit it back to us through ePlans for a further review.
The Planning and Development Committee must approve the finalized agreement if you’re short more than ten parking spaces.
Once we finalize and confirm your PIL agreement, it can be signed by the property owner and the Planning and Building Commissioner.
The agreement will be registered on the property’s title. You’ll be emailed a copy of the signed agreement.
