About the artwork

Donated to the City’s art collection by Mississauga resident Dorothea Sheasby and the Canadian chapter of the Registry of World Citizens, the Peace Stone offers residents a place to ponder and meditate over world peace.

The sculpted marble stone features the Registry of World Citizen’s logo and the words “Planet Earth is our Home, Humanity is our Family.”
