You can also skate outdoors at the Port Credit Memorial Park skating trail or Woodhurst Heights outdoor rink. The City also has more than 20 natural ice rinks at neighbourhood parks that are operated and maintained by dedicated resident volunteers. Find an outdoor ice rink or a natural rink in your neighbourhood.
Head out for a walk at one of the City’s parks and trails. It’s especially beautiful around dusk when the sun sets. You can also visit the Lakeview winter walking trail where you can enjoy two marked two-kilometre trail loops. Find a park near you.

February is Love Your Library Month, so visit your nearest library location to show your love.
Don’t judge a book by its cover. With the “Blind Date with a Book” program, you can borrow a book without knowing the title. When you’ve finished reading it, you can share your review using the “Rate Your Date” feedback card. You can also express your love for your library by adding a “Dear Library” postcard to the community boards to share why your library is special to you.
While visiting, check out one of the Valentine’s Day drop-in programs. From crafts and speed friending, to anti-Valentine’s parties, there’s something for everyone.
