Try a free program offered by the City of Mississauga’s Recreation Division and meet new friends. Sauga Connections for Older Adults offers weekly activities for older adults are available by computer, tablet or phone. These informal programs are a way to connect with others during the winter and pandemic.
Program Information
Programs are free and open to all residents ages 55 and older and include group discussions, activities and fitness classes.
Sessions open five minutes before the start time and activities are 30-60 minutes in length.
How to Connect
It’s easy to connect and help is available for those new to virtual programs.
If you require support to join by computer or phone, please contact the Older Adult Team who will be happy to assist you getting started.

Monday
Yarn Crafters: Join us for some time to connect and show off your current projects or start a new one. We would love to see and chat with you. Even if you don’t have a project on the go.
Tuesday
Coffee Talk: Enjoy your favourite cup of coffee or tea and chat. Each week we will have a special guest speaker joining us.
Wednesday
Fitness: Join our certified fitness instructors for a variety of fun, fitness classes for all levels. No fitness equipment required as we will be making use of the things you have at home.
Thursday
Hot Topics: Each week we will present a new topic of interest. Each guest speaker will discuss the topics that matter.
Friday
Fitness: Join our certified fitness instructors for a variety of fun, fitness classes for all levels. No fitness equipment required as we will be making use of the things you have at home.
