We’ll need eight business days’ notice prior to the meeting you wish to speak at. Please use the Request to Speak form to register a deputation on a future agenda.

Should you wish to speak to a published agenda item after the agenda has been published, please contact the City staff listed on that agenda. Your request must be submitted a minimum of 48 hours prior to the meeting date.
If you want to speak at a Planning and Development Committee meeting, please email deputations.presentations@mississauga.ca.
How long it takes
Once you submit your request, we’ll email the meeting date and details to you within five business days.
Presenting
- You can present for a maximum of five minutes to Council or 10 minutes to a Committee of Council
- If you’re using PowerPoint, email your slides to the Legislative Coordinator for the Council or Committee meeting you’re attending.
Broadcasting
Council and committee meetings are streamed live and archived online.
