Animal Services Adopt-a-thon
Calling all animal lovers – it’s time to meet your new best friend!
From October 17 to 19, the Mississauga Animal Shelter is opening its doors to potential and existing pet owners to meet and adopt pets waiting to go to their forever home. Deserving pets available for adoption to loving homes include cats, dogs, rabbits and more!
Why adopt?
- Have a new best friend love you and your family unconditionally.
- Help us reduce the number of pets patiently waiting to be adopted to their forever home.
- Receive a 50 per cent discount on adoption fees during our pet adopt-a-thon event.
- Pets adopted at the event will receive comprehensive health and wellness checks, including spaying/neutering, initial vaccinations (except rabies), microchipping and deworming.
- Adoptees will also receive their first-year pet licence free of charge.
Get costume photos with every donation to the SCARF foundation and enjoy fun family activities. SCARF helps support our commitment to keep the animals in our care healthier, safer and comfortable.
A dog trainer/behaviouralist will be on site to answer your pet questions free of charge.
