On Monday, June 27, 2022, MiWay will be implementing service changes that include providing more 60-foot buses on Routes 42 Derry and 61 Mavis to help prevent overcrowding, and adjusting schedules on several routes throughout the transit system to support service reliability as traffic and ridership patterns continue to evolve throughout the city. Regular 300-series school routes will not operate during the summer; however, there will be three new summer school routes that operate from July 4 to 29.
All routes in the transit system continue to be monitored regularly so that service levels are responsive to customers’ needs and shifts in demand.
To help reduce the potential for overcrowding, additional 60-foot (articulated) buses will operate on Routes 42 Derry (Weekday) and 61 Mavis (Saturday and Sunday).
Routes to high schools (regular 300-series school routes) will not operate during the summer; however, there will be three new summer school routes that operate from July 4 to 29.
Service to in-person summer school classes will be provided by local and express routes that travel to high schools, as well as these temporary summer school routes:

Due to renovations at the Carmen Corbasson Community Centre, the MiWay bus stops in front of the Mississauga Seniors’ Centre will be out of service. Customers can still take the Route 8 Cawthra to travel to and from the centre by using the on-street bus stops at Arbor Court and Cawthra Road.
Schedule adjustments will be made on the routes below to improve service reliability as traffic and ridership patterns continue to evolve throughout the city.
MiWay will make further schedule adjustments as needed to ensure that services remain responsive to customer needs.
