Our libraries are always happy to get help from volunteers. You can help with book sales or join a Teen Advisory Group.

MiWay
The MiWay Student Ambassador Program is a fun and professional opportunity for students to represent and promote MiWay, while earning volunteer hours.
Applications for this program are accepted from April to May, and the program runs from September to May.

Parks, Forestry & Environment
When you volunteer with Parks and Forestry you can expect to help with the City’s natural areas and be part of programs like adopt a park, maintain a garden bed, paint a mural, plant trees and remove invasive species.
You can volunteer with Environment as a Community Green Leader to help spread the word about how residents can take action to help green their communities and make Mississauga a greener, more environmentally friendly city.

Volunteer MBC will help match volunteers of all ages to opportunities around the City and the wider Peel region.
They also help businesses place employees in volunteering roles and offer networking, workshops and webinar services to the corporate community.
