About

The City of Mississauga is working to protect and enhance the City’s stock of affordable, safe, livable rental housing.

City staff have assessed the need for an apartment building standards and maintenance program. The program is likely to resemble the current City of Toronto’s RentSafeTO program. Residents are encouraged to review the RentSafeTO program for more information regarding the tenant and ownership roles and responsibilities.

We are working to ensure apartment buildings and properties are well-maintained, for a more livable community.
