The City of Mississauga is allowing mobile food businesses to operate in designated City parks and on-street parking areas until April 30, 2027, a one-year extension of the pilot program. No park permit is required.
The program aims to simplify the process for food vendors operating in parks and increase the presence of food trucks in Mississauga.
You must have a valid City of Mississauga mobile business licence in one of the following service areas:
You can operate from approved locations in City parks. Some businesses may also operate from paid on-street parking areas.
Ice cream trucks, food trucks and food carts may operate in approved park locations on a first-come, first-served basis. Only refreshment cycles may enter a park occupied by other vendors.
You may operate only from spaces with a vendor parking sign.
Hours are from 10 a.m. until the park closes. Check the park location for hours. Some parks will be closed at times for scheduled events.
