Live Music Grant

The Live Music Grant program provides funding to offset eligible expenses associated with the presentation of safe and inclusive live music events to Mississauga residents and visitors.

The grant is designed to help grow Mississauga’s music economy by supporting more live music events, generating revenue for musicians and venues, and creating new spaces for live music.

Who can apply

You can apply for this grant if you are a new or established concert presenter and the concert:

  • Features a minimum of 50% Mississauga-based musicians
  • Takes place in Mississauga
  • Operates on a for-profit model

A new or established concert presenter includes musicians, music venues, bars, restaurants or concert production businesses.

2026 Live Music Grant applications open March 2, 2026. The deadline to submit your application is March 27, 2026, at 4:30 p.m.
