How to book a tree planting event
To book a tree planting event, call 311 (905-615-4311 outside City limits) or complete the online request form.
There’s a fee for corporations and non-resident groups based on the number of people in the event.
Corporate and non-resident groups
Non-resident groups have fewer than 50% of their members reside in Mississauga or whose organizations are based outside of Mississauga.
For corporations and non-resident groups, we:
- Plan and deliver a tree planting event specifically for your group (arranged in consultation with you)
- Provide all needed training, support and safety needs for your planting event
- Supply all planting tools and materials including trees, shovels and gloves
- Provide your organization with a One Million Trees certificate of recognition
- Recognize your business or group on the One Million Trees website
Fees
The 2026 fees for corporate and non-resident tree planting events are as follows:

If you have over 100 attendees, the Natural Areas Management team will determine the fee based on the number of participants.
A 10% cancellation fee applies to events cancelled for any reason other than poor weather.
How to pay
Corporations and non-resident groups will receive an invoice from City staff when the event is successfully booked. You can pay your fees online.
Where your fees go
Fees paid by corporate and non-resident groups go back into the City of Mississauga’s tree planting programs and allow the City to deliver more planting projects in Mississauga.
