If there are construction or maintenance activities occurring on your property you must get approval for the temporary discharge of any surface runoff or ground water to the City’s storm sewer system.
All discharges to the City’s stormwater system must meet the requirements in the Storm Sewer By-Law to protect the quality of downstream water.
To request approval, complete the Storm Sewer Temporary Discharge Approval Form and email it to env.inquiries@mississauga.ca.
