The City Clerk's Office is responsible for the statutory duties of the municipal clerk, including the Vital Statistics Act, Marriage Act, Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, Planning Act (Committee of Adjustment); manages the City's records; conducts municipal elections, acts as secretariat to Council and its committees, and administers the Provincial Offences Court and the Administrative Penalty System.
