The most valuable card in your wallet could be a library card.

As more residents look for ways to save money, find entertainment and connect with their communities, Mississauga Library offers a simple solution: a free library card.

Many people think of libraries as places to borrow books, but a library card can open the door to so much more. From books, movies and video games to online learning, career resources, digital news and family activities, it unlocks access to services that might otherwise require subscription fees, making it one of the best values available to residents.

Beyond the savings, the real value of a library card isn’t just what you can borrow; it’s the opportunities it creates. Public libraries are welcoming spaces where you can learn, grow, connect and explore. They are a vital part of their communities, where you can learn new skills, attend events, explore interests, build connections, and access supports regardless of age, income or background. Whether you’re looking for your next great read, helping a child discover a love of learning, starting or advancing your career, learning a new language, launching a business, or looking for fun activities, endless opportunities begin at the library.

There has never been a better time to sign up for a library card and discover everything Mississauga Library has to offer.
