The Community Grant supports registered groups delivering programs and services that keep Mississauga residents active, healthy and engaged in their communities through recreation and sport, parks and forestry or environmental activities.
Groups must be registered with the City’s Community Group Registry Program to apply. When your group is registered, you can apply for annual or, if invited, multi-year grants.
Who can apply
To apply, your organization must be:
- Registered and in good standing in the Community Group Registry Program at the time of application
- A legally incorporated not-for-profit community group operating for at least 4 years
- Based and active in Mississauga
- Be in good standing with the City
- Financially sustainable with no major deficit
