property. Touch screen computers are available in the Clerk's Office to assist the

the MPAC website. Once you have reached the MPAC home page, click on Assessment Roll Values and
that brings you to a listing of municipalities for the province. Once a municipality is
selected, a roll number or address of the property must be entered. Property details are then
provided as follows; roll number, address, property code, frontage/depth/area, ward/poll, legal
description, unit class, total current value and realty tax/qualifier.
Assessment is the value assigned by the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) to
all property including land and buildings. The assessed value of property multiplied by the
appropriate tax rate set each year by the City Council, determines the taxes each property
owner pays. This rate includes the taxes levied by the school boards and the Region of
Peel.
