Recycling Collection Drive 2023
From October 10 to 22, drop off unwanted clothing, textiles and electronics in collection bins located at various City facilities!
In celebration of Waste Reduction Week and Circular Economy Month in Canada, the City is hosting its annual Recycling Collection Drive in partnership with Toronto and Region Conservation Authority’s Partners in Project Green.
Locations include:
- Churchill Meadows Community Centre
- Clarkson Community Centre
- Erin Meadows Community Centre
- Frank McKechnie Community Centre
- Huron Park Recreation Centre
- Malton Community Centre
- Meadowvale Community Centre
- Mississauga Valley Community Centre
- Mississauga Civic Centre
- River Grove Community Centre
- South Common Community Centre
All unwanted clothing and household textiles will be donated to Diabetes Canada including:
- Shoes
- Boots
- Accessories
- Bags
- Blankets
- Sheets
- Towels
- Sleeping bags
- Curtains
- Soft toys (example: stuffed animals)
Electronics will be collected recycled by Electronics Recycling Association. Accepted items include:
- Desktop computers
- Laptops
- Printers
- Keyboards
- Phone systems
- Computer mice
- Handheld devices
