Meadowvale Theatre renovation

Professional artist Jay Havens has been selected to create a public artwork for the newly renovated Meadowvale Theatre. The artwork will be produced onto glass panels, spanning 38 feet around the Theatre’s control room in the lobby.

The goals of this public art project are to:

  • Engage community members to create artwork that reflects the diversity of Mississauga and Meadowvale Theatre’s users and patrons;
  • Contribute to the redevelopment of Meadowvale Theatre as a high quality cultural hub and prestigious event venue that supports and engages emerging artists; and to
  • Improve the customer experience in the Theatre, by creating an atmosphere of inspiration, creativity, vibrancy, and wonder
