Flood Outlook

Environment Canada is forecasting 20 to 40 mm of rain for Saturday. Thunderstorms are possible and may produce additional heavy showers in isolated areas.

Some minor flooding in low-lying areas along the Credit River and its major watercourses may occur with the forecasted rain. Heavy downpours associated with thunderstorms may cause flooding in highly urbanized areas.

As a result, local streams and rivers may become dangerous, especially in the vicinity of culverts, bridges and dams. The public is advised to stay away from all watercourses, especially children and pets.

To report flooding, please call 3-1-1.
