Site Plan and Statistics

Sample Drawings

As part of your application submission, you may be asked to provide, amongst other things; a site plan, floors plans and elevations. The following will assist you in providing the correct information on these drawings.

Please be advised that the following information does not represent an exhaustive list of the zoning by-law requirements, and is used for preliminary purposes.

Residential:



 
 
Residential Site Plan: A fully dimensioned Metric Ste Plan(s) that includes the following:
  • Proposed and existing structures clearly shown and differentiated
  • Building description (e.g. "Proposed Detached Dwelling")
  • Lot lines & property dimensions.
  • Indicate building setbacks from each property line.
  • Driveways & walkways
  • Label the driveway surface treatment (e.g. proposed asphalt, concrete, etc.)
  • Building exits (include the number of risers/steps)
  • Window wells (location & setbacks)
  • Overall length and width of each building on the Ste Plan(s).
  • Property Address
  • Site statistics (see example in link provided below)

 

Non-Residential:

Non Residential Ste Plan: A fully dimensioned Metric Ste Plan(s) that includes the following:
  • Proposed and existing structures clearly shown and differentiated
  • Lot lines & property dimensions.
  • Building setbacks from each property line.
  • Parking spaces, areas, driveways and aisles (including parking spaces for persons with disabilities and loading spaces)
  • Surface treatment of parking areas
  • Dimensions of all parking spaces, aisles and loading spaces. See 3.1.1.4
  • Landscaped buffers
  • Outdoor storage areas (where applicable)
  • Overall length and width of all buildings on Ste Plan(s).
  • Location of building/unit
  • Property Address & unit number
  • Site statistics (see example in link provided below)
