Final report approved
On June 5, 2019, City of Mississauga Council approved the final report on the Transportation Network Company (TNC) Licensing Pilot Project.
The City of Mississauga has regulated the operation of Transportation Network Companies (also known as Rideshare Services) since 2017.
Uber, Lyft and Facedrive are regulated in Mississauga as part of the Transportation Network Company Pilot Project Licensing By-law.
The City engaged with residents, industry partners to gather feedback about the Transportation Network Company Pilot Project Licensing by-law and amendments to the Public Vehicle License by-law. The feedback allowed us to develop a final report of recommendations.
